The bread knife I already had is only 7″, so this 10″ being available to order along with the Slicer was ideal. Solid, sharp and cuts smoothly.

Love it! Only thing I find hard is how not to mark up the cutting board. The Daddio’s slicing knife is so great that just the littlest drag on the cutting board at the end of my slicing has left its mark. But, other than that, I love the bread slicer and the knife!

Best bread knife I have owned ! Would be nice to have it 2 inches longer but it’s no big deal and it cuts through bread so smooth!

Nice knife. The blade is stiff enough for straight cuts and the fine teeth make a much smoother cut than my other knives with wider serrations. The only improvement that I could ask for is a14″ blade so my strokes could be longer with the slicing guide. I just wish they made a longer blade.
I like the overall feel and handling of the knife,
I do find that when used in conjunction with the slicer, it seems just a bit too short. A couple more inches would be a huge improvement.
I have pulled the knife too far towards me more than once, which means it will not stay in the slot on the other side. Not a huge issue, but still an annoyance. I have to reposition the knife and try again. Probably something that will improve once I have used the slicer more, but I don’t think this should be a requirement, given that the knife is sold with the slicer.
Thus far, overall I’ve been pleased with the knife. Seems sharp, cuts well with the exception noted above (not the knife’s fault really). I haven’t used it much as of yet, so do not know how well it will hold up.

Knife could be at least 2 inches longer and more sturdy.

Knife is ok, but no better than our other bread knives.
This knife is a great value for the money. It cuts the bread very easily and is easy to hold on to. I would recommend this knife.
