Highly Efficient Slicer, Worth the Investment
A great slicer – I had purchased a couple of cheap plastic slicers of similar design that were rubbish so was apprehensive at spending so much on this one. Well worth the money – I sliced an entire crusty loaf easily and with no ‘dud’ slices. I have had to order a bigger knife – instructions do recommend a minimum 10″ length and I only had an 8″ which still did the job but I had to go very slowly so as not to ‘jump’ out of the slot guides.

Bread Slicing Made Easier
I ordered the America’s Slicer and will keep it, although it is not tall enough for a two pound loaf of bread. I have to cut the loaf in half. Then turn the cut side down. I feel this causes the bread to dry out faster, because I don’t have a crust on the bottom, after cutting the loaf in half. I bought the 10 inch knife also.

I bake bread often, either from scratch or with my bread machine. It is always difficult to slice the bread evenly. Usually, I end up with very thick slices or tapered slices that won’t fit in my toaster or make a decent sandwich. I just used my bread slicer for the first time. What a great difference. It was easy to use and I finally had uniform slices of bread. The quality is great and made in the U.S. What more could anyone ask.

Fantastic high-quality bread slicer
Have looked for years for a decent bread Slicer. Most bread slicer’s that we have looked at were either very cheaply made of bad quality or had to look More industrial type which is not suitable for home use. America’s slicer is high-quality and so simple to use. It is a well thought out design in its construction and the materials used, for instance the cutting board. Thee variable width of the slots Allows for thick or thin slices. Decided to go with the package offering and so glad I did… The knife is the perfect knife and the extra cutting board with the plastic bags and Clips is the way to go. This bread slicer will easily accommodate a 2 pound size of home made bread. We now make bread once a week just to use the slicer! One big selling point also is that it is made in the USA. I was not going to buy any Slicer unless it was made in the USA. This is a fantastic home product. So glad we found it.

Precise and even slices for homemade bread.
LOVE THIS! We make homemade bread frequently and with just the two of us the bread stays fresher if we split the loaves in half before freezing. That first cut, though, sets the pattern for all of the others. It us so great that this first slice as well as all of the others are so precise and even. A little thing, to be sure, but so satisfying. We use a 10 inch bread knife and it works just fine.

Excellent Bread Slicer
This is a very nice bread slicer! I was using a plastic slicer with bad results. Bought this and all is good. I recommend using a ten inch knife as it is wide. Folds up flat, so it doesn’t take a lot of storage. I am very satisfied with this product!
