After a lot of research online, and looking at all of the slicers on Amazon, I came across a video by a user of the America’s Bread Slicer. After watching the video, I decided to find their website and have a look at their product. It turned out to be exactly what I wanted and had features that the ones on Amazon did not. It is better made and more sturdy, and it is compact and easy to store. This one is very good quality compare to the bamboo ones on Amazon. I first i thought that it was a bit pricey, but I pulled the trigger and ordered it, and I’m glad that I di. It is worth every penny! It is so well made with hight quality materials that it really is a good price for such a quality product.

American-Made Hardwood Slicing Guide: Worth Every Penny
I bought this slicing guide and it was delivered (OR to NY) very quickly. The quality is really good. This is the REAL American-made HARDWOOD deal–not bamboo or plastic Chinese junk! It works extremely well and is durable and attractive! I see no need to fold it up and put it away. Instructions are very clear and will avoid ANY of the issues that can be seen in reviews of other brands. My knife is 9 1/4″ and with minimal care works just fine in cutting very even slices of any thickness I desire simply by positioning the loaf against the side and a small distance from the plastic plate end guide. My bread machine makes tall loaves, so I simply place them in the guide on their side for slicing–plenty of room for almost any size loaves. While this may seem a bit pricier than other junk being sold elsewhere, it’s American-MADE and worth every penny! You definitely get what you pay for.

Wooden Bread Slicer: Works for Thick and Thin Slices
Used it for the first time last week, and it worked great. Wished I could’ve washed it before first use, but understand it’s a wood product, and I will have to be satisfied with only a wipe down. Works best with at least a 10″ bread knife….. 12″ knife may work even better. There are slots for both thick and thin slices. I can recommend this slicer ? Thanks!
