Bread Slicing Guide: Solid and efficient
Just started making bread again after many years, and the first time with a bread machine. This bread slicing guide is pretty cool. It takes a little getting used to, but when you get the hang of it, it works well. Nice wood, easy to store and I like that the cutting surface is polyethylene, not wood which wears out too fast. I also like that it is made in the USA. It was delivered in two days. The bread stop did flex on me at first, but when I don’t push the bread against it too hard, it works fine. I recommend this product.

Quality Bread Slicer, Worth the Investment
Finally a quality made slicer not made out of plastic! Yes making your own bread means spending a bit of money but don’t skip on investing in a good bread slicer and this is it. For the quality and compact design it actually is reasonable. There a lot of plastic ones out there which are about hafe the price but it’s not worth it. Love that my knife isn’t cutting into plastic (see how long that holds up) if you take care of this slicer it’s going to last good investment!

Engineer's Review: Well-Constructed Bread Slicer
As an engineer I appreciate well crafted machines.This is a well constructed product and I like how it folds up to take up less room. The material used as the slicing board seems pretty tough and durable. The wood is down right beautiful. The unit is fairly wide. It will accommodate large bread loafs but small loafs will need to be held against the guides on one side so the bread does not shift during slicing. My only significant criticism of the product is the flimsy piece of plastic that slides into the guides and acts as a stop for the bread. As another reviewer noted, it is easy to make it bow and add thickness to the slices. I suggest a thicker material for this. I would recommend this product to a friend. SierraBASE writes: Thanks so much for the comments! The purpose of the plastic bread stop is only to line up the loaf for slicing, not to push the loaf against. Once loaf is placed in the slicer the stop may even be removed before cutting if desired.

Well Made Wooden Bread Slicer
This is a well made product made of beautiful wood (except for the base where the bread rests and the vertical support). Easy to use and efficient. The design is well thought out. I highly recommend this product.

Product Review: Convenient bread slicer for celiacs
I have celiac disease and bake all my own bread but have always had difficulty slicing the loaves. Not any more! I really like this product and especially appreciate that I can fold it up so it doesn’t take up much space. I’ll buy a second vertical support to put in front of the loaf, though, because it needs a little more help to keep it from slipping while slicing. I’m recommending it to my fellow “celiacs.”

Perfect for Pre-Slicing Homemade Bread
I recently purchased a bread machine that makes beautiful loaves but I wanted to pre-slice to make it easier for my family to make sandwiches. This is a PERFECT tool for pre-slicing. Quality Bread Slicer Made in the USA
You will not regret purchasing this quality item MADE in the USA! Yes, I did hesitate about paying a little more than the one I bought elsewhere but you know what? You get what you pay for. The other bread slicer was returned because it was totally unusable (put together backwards so the slots didn’t line up) and it was wobbly and sort of splintery. America’s Bread slicer was perfectly aligned, stable and the wood is very smooth. I love it!
