Great slicer, minor slice size issue
I have been eyeing this for a year and used some of my Christmas money to buy it. I like it very much, from the ease of handling and storage to the sturdiness of the slicer. The only thing I would like, and I think I’m probably in a minority here, is for the thin slices to be slightly thinner. I’m fixing sandwiches for small people, and even the thin slice makes a pretty sizeable sandwich! But I am not sorry I have this and I use it EVERY day!

This is the best bread slicer ever! I had an old plastic one before. This slicer, however, will last for years! The wood will not splinter or leave pieces on my bread slices, and I like how thin the bread can be sliced. Also, this one is so very compact and easy to store! An outstanding purchase.

Before using America’s slicer I had a hard time cutting uniform slices. This tool makes it so easy. The convenience of being able to fold it and store it away is worth the extra cost. The 1/2 inch side is perfect for sandwiches and 3/4 side for toast. If I want it larger I just slice it myself.
