Slicer performs well with softer crusts
I bake most of the bread for my family, 3 times a week. I have used the slicer once so far, with a crusty sourdough loaf. The unit performs well enough, maybe better with a softer crust than my regular recipes produce. I had to use my own bread knife because the knife that came with the unit won’t cut through a very crusty loaf. I think the entire package would work well for a sturdy but tender sandwich loaf or tea bread. I like the bread bags and closing clips. Very handy.
